Navigating the Tire Jungle
One of the last things on your mind is your tires — until they need to be replaced, when you start looking at the choices. You learn that tires marked "P," for passenger, are cheaper and will actually give you a smoother ride. Tires marked "LT," for light truck, are designed for hauling heavy loads, trailer pulling, and driving down rough roads or even off-road.
If you have a pickup or an SUV, you might want to haul a heavy load now and then — but do you really need "LT" tires? Is it safe to haul an occasional load on passenger tires?
What about all-season tires, sometimes called four-season tires? Are they a better choice for driving on rough roads? Are all-season tires safer for pulling a trailer than normal passenger tires?
Relax! Here at Bryden Motors, we have the training, knowledge, and experience to walk you through the maze of choices. We can help you match the tire you need to what you drive, where you drive, and the way you drive. Give us a call today, or just come on in for a cup of coffee.
